Indoor Cycling: One Of The Best Cardiovascular Exercises You Can Get

I've worked in a couple of London cycle shops and a lot of people tell me they'd love to ride a bike but they're too worried about traffic. I always tell them if they want to cycle to keep fit, consider indoor cycling. Indoor cycling is one of the organized, high intensity exercises that are done on stationary bikes in a classroom setting. There is an instructor who simulates a ride during the class. You can travel flat roads, climb hills, race or even sprint. It is one of the best cardiovascular exercises. The participants set goals that can be measured in terms of heart rate by using a heart rate monitor or even hand and you can create variations in terrain by changing the cadence or resistance. Even if you do not have a heart rate monitor, you can measure your level of exertion on a relative perceived exertion scale. This device is particularly useful for new entrants in this area of cardiovascular exercising. The scale has numerals from 1 to 10 or 6 to 20 that reflects upon your level of exertion. The best thing about indoor cycling is that you do not have to worry about the weather for exercising. I've been riding bikes outdoors for my local errands and it's annoying when the weather's inclement. For indoor cycling, you do not need to wait for the weather to clear and can begin even if it is raining or snowing outside. Why Making My Subjects Relax is Vital for Me As a Portrait Photographer

Being a portrait photographer, I can tell you that the hardest part of my job is photographing people who simply do not want to be there. I can spot them a mile off. The young married couple coaxed into some formal portraits by their parents, the young kids not interested in the family portrait photos (and who can blame them if they're young!). My job is to make them feel more relaxed and make the whole process less painful for them, and even fun and interesting if given the chance. I like to take the formality out of the occasion if possible, and get some genuine smiles from them. I have to make those that feel uncomfortable with having their photo taken feel more confident - and most often I can do that, and it's funny that when someone exudes that kind of confidence, the photos always come out a lot better.
