On the Versatility of the Leather Jacket

My leather jacket is precious to me. Although I got it from a cheap, mainstream store, its style is not at all ordinary. It goes so well with my ankle boots and other shoes and accessories I own. Although it is not actual leather, but rather a synthetically produced plastic, the material provides all of the benefits of leather with none of the costs or ethical problems. As for style itself, the leather jacket can be used in various circumstances. Paired with high heels and a miniskirt, it's a very feminine, daring, and flirty accessory. With worn-out jeans and black boots, it's like a rebel yell, letting me stand out from the crowd. However, although leather jackets may often be associated with crime and low status, if worn with a bright skirt and a neat top it only adds class and taste to an outfit. But none of this compares with the sentimental value of my precious leather jacket - through thick and thin, it has sheltered me from rain and wind, given me confidence to stand up for myself, and more importantly, to express myself.
