My favorite holiday was my honeymoon with my husband. We went to Costa Rica and got to participate in a lot of unique activities, as well as spend lots of time together away from others. We were able to try zip lining for the first time in the forest. Zip lining was little scary at first but I did enjoy it and we got to see lots of bright colored birds and flowers. We also rode horses on the beach, which was a special experience because my husband had never rode a horse before. He was a little nervous to get on but our guides were great and really helpful. We stayed at an all-inclusive resort that offered tons of other fun activities including jet skiing, scuba diving, and salsa lessons. We had a great time scuba diving and saw some really beautiful fish. We also saw other interesting sea live like rays and sea horses. The sea horses were really beautiful and definitely my favorite animal of the excursion! Salsa lessons were also fun. My husband has two left feet and he may have broken a few toes but it was definitely a fun activity that allowed us to laugh and bond as a couple. There were tons of great restaurants at the resort including establishments that served French, Italian, Asian, and Caribbean cuisine. I had never had Caribbean food before but it turned out to be really good and definitely one of our favorite resort restaurants that we frequented throughout the trip. We also spent tons of downtime relaxing on the beautiful white sand beach and by the resort pool, which had a fun swim up bar and a laid back atmosphere. Overall, it was an amazing trip and I would love to return to Costa Rica with my husband at some point!
Next year we're planning an altogether different trip - to go on walks around northern England - we're planning to rent a holiday cottage in the Peak District and spend some time there.

When this house was built, they for some reason thought it would be a great idea to put the staircase leading down to the basement directly in the center of the house thereby forcing every other room to work around it. So what I would like to do is just gut the house and put the staircase along the wall so that it only takes up one small area and doesn't impede the flow through the rest of the rooms the house would become a easily navigated efficient place instead of the big circles you have to walk in now. I would need to completely remodel the house it would probably be easier just to build a new one rather than try all that stuff but I don't know if it would be cheaper. If I do achieve all of that, then I want to look at doing a further makeover to the new structure buying in new furniture like butterfly table and chairs sets, new carpets, wallpaper and other housewares to complete my perfect home.Other Sources: wisegeek.com | publicrecords.com | mantishomedirect.co.uk

Having just completed the landscaping on our garden (replete with a fine gazebo there), I reluctantly turn to the big building next to it - our house. Yes, I'm talking about home improvements here. My friend owns a Dordogne farmhouse and that is the inspiration I am using to improve our own home. Our front hallway, or foyer, is functional, yet long, dark and basically a dead end to another long hallway. Our house is an L-shape ranch style, and I would like to open up the room adjacent to the front hallway, so that the "dining room" has access to the hall, and is more functional. We have an open kitchen/dining/living room area, and the "dining room" is quite forgotten. Because the west side of the house is made up of all windows, the light from the "dining room" would flow into the hallway once the passage is made, to light up the very dark space. The "dining room" does not get any use except as a computer/exercise room, and I believe that it would be more inviting if it had a different, more convenient access. My only concern is for the stability of the wall if a portion of the wall was knocked out to make an open door. I do not want to cause additional stress to the existing beams.

If you know me, you know that it's not exactly a hidden secret that I am a big fan of traveling the world and engaging myself in new, exciting experiences. There are many countries I would someday like to visit, and Thailand is right near the top of the list. There are a variety of different reasons I would adore visiting Thailand, but some of the more prominent ones are as follows. First and foremost, I've always found the architecture in Thailand to be absolutely beautiful. There are so many gorgeous buildings I would love to see with my own eyes, including the Democracy Monument and Phanom Rung. Second, the beaches in Thailand from what I can tell appear to be absolutely stunning - from Pattaya beach to the beaches of Ko Samet, Samui and Phuket. I am a big fan of beaches, and it seems that Thailand is home to some of the more beautiful ones in the world. Lastly, Thailand itself is located in a part of the world I have not had the opportunity to explore at all, and what better place to start than Thailand itself? A large, sprawling country with gorgeous architecture, beautiful beaches, and a whole new culture sounds like the perfect place for me.Further Research: cnet.com | everydayhealth.com

It is quite natural today that the foreigners in any country be vaccinated. This is considering the state of the world today that has been reported to be full of diseases that are untold of their whereabouts. One can no longer understand how most diseases today come into existence. Some scientists say that they are as a result f the type of food we eat but his is not always the case because their are others that are air borne an only require protection from the one who are infected. This is possible in the sense that the infected get themselves away fro the uninfected. In the case where the country needs to vaccinate the citizens from any upcoming disease, everyone i expected to comply because it is usually done for their own good. In the same way, one would wonder,do i need vaccinations for thailand? like any other country, Thailand also ensures that anyone who would like to have some time in their country is vaccinate against any disease so that in case they infected, they do not get to infect anyone else who is not infected. |

A quiet coastal caravan site is a great way to relax and unwind, whether for just a few days or a week or two on holiday. Modern caravans offer many of the home from home comforts even though it's not a brick built home, and there's always a lot of options for you when you browsecaravans for sale. Good points are you are probably situated minutes from the sea and sand and local amenities and places to visit and explore. If you own your own van this is great because you can just go and stay whenever you like in the season and take advantage of the caravan's benefits, you can even let it out to family and friends if you wish and take advantage of a little extra income. Owning a static caravan gives you the option to move the caravan to an alternative site if you so wish so as to experience another location. Bad points - costs of site fees can be a little high and you would need to factor this in to your budget. While you hope for lovely sunny weather when at your caravan holiday, it can be terribly noisy if you encounter heavy rain pelting down on the roof in the middle of the night, and it can be tricky sorting out the television aerial to pick up the best signal. All in all, a caravan provides an ideal getaway for those who like to head for the coast whenever the mood takes them. |
